My review of Czzza.com was going so well until I actually got my watch! The Omega Speedmaster they sent me is going on my list of all-time worst watches, and that's quite an achievement, because I've seen some bad ones in my day! It's really a shame, because I can't complain about the site or the service or anything else – this just happened to be a great site with terrible watches! They've since been shut down, I hope if they go into another line of work they remember that the merchandise is the most important thing!
Quality: Are These Watches Any Good?
Just when everything seemed to be going so well, these guys send me one of the worst watches I've ever seen. Their Omega Speedmaster was ridiculously light, like a toy. The finish looked worn and scratched as if it had been heavily used (it wouldn't surprise me). When I went to set the time I found that the crown was loose, and when I pulled it out it fell out entirely.
The Site: Usability and Design
The Cazzza website was one of the better looking sites I'd seen in a while, with a unique layout and design as you can see by the screenshot. I thought it was really charming that they used drawings of watches, but of course when you clicked them to see the real merchandise it was just pictures taken from the authentic sites. I guess that's par for the course these days.
Service: Is Their Staff Any Good?
I was excited to see that these guys had live chat but when I tried it, it wasn't available. Same thing the next day and the day after – it was just for show. Email generally took 2-3 days to get a response and as usual they don't list a telephone number.
Shipping: Is It Fast and Reliable?
Shipping took nearly a month, but I can't really blame them – the first package was seized at China's customs. They were good about reshipping right away, I guess without the delay it would probably have taken about 2-3 weeks. Packaging was secure and they did send me a tracking number, both times.
Return Policy: Is It Reasonable?
They were very fair when it came to taking back replica watches and were even apologetic, which you don't often see. I did wonder though, did they ever send out replica watches that weren't sent back? With quality this bad I don't really know how they ever managed to stay in business. Anyways, they let me send the watch back by the cheapest shipping method and refunded my money right away.
The Bottom Line
These guys got everything right except for the merchandise. They were shut down before I posted this review of Czzza.com, and maybe that's the best thing for them since I can't imagine they made much of a living out of selling such poor watches.
